The THE BAND Band presents a special tribute to The Band and their mentor and long-time collaborator, Bob Dylan, in honor of his Birthday! There is perhaps no more influential, profound, successful, or enigmatic songwriter in history than Bob Dylan. From the protest songs of his early years to his introspective, sometimes caustic commentary on love and humanity, his songs are the cornerstone of the soundtrack of his generation, and have garnered countless awards and honors around the world. In 2016, he added the Nobel prize for literature to his resume. Dylan and The Band will forever be remembered as one of the most creative and influential musical partnerships in rock and roll history, from Dylans first world tour after going electric in 1965 to his roof-raising performance at The Last Waltz, The Bands farewell concert in 1976, and beyond. For this special show, The THE BAND Band will celebrate Dylans birthday, performing classics like Like A Rolling Stone, All Along The Watchtower and Just Like A Woman, as well as Band favorites such as The Weight, Up On Cripple Creek, and The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.
