Jungle Week! ArtVentures Summer 2022

Experiment! Discover! Create!\ August 1st - 5 th\ 9am-3pm\ Best for Ages 6 - 11 years \ $500 for the week all materials included.\ $300 for a sibling\ Join us as we discover, through art making, all the Jungle has to offer! We will explore the work of Henri Rousseau, master of painting the Jungle, as well as many others. \ \ Students will:\ \ Design their own jungle creatures\ \ Create jungle terrariums.\ \ Make T-Shirts\ \ Print in our print shop. \ \ Draw, Paint & More!\ \ All materials are included along with a sketchbook and ArtVentures t-shirt for each child. Each day begins with some time to get to know one another and an introduction to daily projects. Children will work individually and collaboratively to create unique works of art. We will spend a TON of time outdoors, taking advantage of Gallery North’s sprawling campus. Lunch time will be spent picnicking around the gallery pond and snacks (given twice daily) will be on our terrace. A group Show & Share Exhibition will be held the last day to celebrate everyone’s creative accomplishments! All family and friends are welcome join us for the end of week exhibition.\ \ Students must bring a bag lunch, water bottle & a towel or blanket to sit on outdoors. Snack is provided.
