Local Artists Week! ArtVentures Summer 2022

Make Art, Make Friends & Make Creative Memories!!\ July 5th - 8th\ \ 9am - 3pm\ \ Ages 6-11years\ \ $500 for the week\ \ $300 for sibling\ \ Join us for ArtVentures Summer Program 2021 where students will work with some of Long Island\'s best artists and educators! \ \ Students will learn about Long Island Artists who create and share their work locally and make their own pieces of art based on the work we explore. We\'ll spend some time over at the Gallery learning about the current show and what it takes to curate a show in preparation for a local art show of our own!\ \ Students will:\ \ Learn about local art\ \ Create inspired art pieces\ \ Curate their own art show\ \ Talk to local artists\ \ Draw, paint & more!\ \ All materials are included along with a sketchbook and ArtVentures t-shirt for each child. Each day begins with some time to get to know one another and an introduction to daily projects. Children will work individually and collaboratively to create unique works of art. We will spend a TON of time outdoors, taking advantage of Gallery North’s sprawling campus. Lunch time will be spent picnicking around the gallery pond and snacks (given twice daily) will be on our terrace. A group Show & Share Exhibition will be held the last day to celebrate everyone’s creative accomplishments! All family and friends are welcome join us for the end of week exhibition.\ \ Students must bring a bag lunch, water bottle & a towel or blanket to sit on outdoors.. Snack is provided
